Zee and Malmuth have truly written a 7 Card Stud strategy book that teaches you how to think about playing a strong overall game. With the enormous popularity of poker and the availability of online poker, there has been a lot of poorly written poker books and advice. This is NOT one of those. Seven Card Stud for Advanced Players is a must-have addition to any growing poker library.
Again, the one caveat is that this advice is meant for higher limit 7 Card Stud games, where you are playing skilled tight-aggressive players. While lower-limit players may not be able to apply 100% of the material to the unskilled opponents at lower stakes, I still recommend getting this book. It’s such a great textbook of Seven Card Stud strategy that all nearly every player should be able to get something of value from it.
