Earn 5 Times The Number Of Full Tilt Points
You guys that already play there should know what Happy Hour is. For those who don’t, Happy Hour is a promotion that enables you to earn Full Tilt Points at a faster rate than normal during certain times of the day. For their 5th B-day Full Tilt will be rewarding players with 5X the number of points during Happy Hour periods. This starts on July 14th and ends on July 19th.
$5,000 Freeroll Every 5 Hours
I’m not a big fan of freerolls myself but I will be playing in some of these. Every five hours Full Tilt will host a $5,000 freeroll. I always bust out of freerolls early but since they are running every 5 hours who cares.
5X Bounty Bonus
Normally when you knock one of the Full Tilt Pro’s out of a tournament or sitngo (30+ players) you receive your buy-in fee back as a bonus. Full Tilt will be rewarding any player that knocks out one of their pro’s with 5 times the tournament/sitngo buyin. Tournaments with pro’s registered in them are highlighted with red in the tournament section. I don’t know about you guys but I’ll but I’m going hunting for Red Pro’s.
Extra $700,000 On The 19th
The 19th is Full Tilt Poker’s 5th birthday so they are going to be giving away $700,000. Five hundred grand would have made more sense since its their 5th b-day but that’s Full Tilt for you, always giving more than they have to. The 700k is split up in these 3 events:
- 14:00 ET – The Sunday Brawl will have a $500,000 GTD prize pool instead of the usual $350k.
- 18:00ET – The $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament at Full Tilt will have a $1,500,00 GTD prize pool. That is an extra $500,000!
- 19:05 ET – The Sunday Mulligan tournament will have a $250,000 GTD prize pool.
Needless to say, on Sunday the 19th I will be spending my day at Full Tilt Poker. I’m going to multi-tabling during Happy Hour for sure. I’m hoping to earn enough points to buy 3-4 of those iPods. My little sisters come over bugging me all the time to “burn” cd’s. I didn’t know that people still used such primitive technology so I’ll just give each of them an iPod so they will leave me alone and stop DL’ing viruses on my computer.
