This isn’t 7 Card Stud related but I just wanted to make a post about a new web site I launched; www.27TripleDraw.net. Its all about Triple Draw poker. For those of you that have played 8-game mix at Pokerstars you will know what this game is. If you have always wanted to play 8-game mix but never felt to urge to learn a new poker game this is the perfect opportunity for you. My new site covers 2-7 Triple Draw, which is in 8-game mix. This is the most common triple draw game played online.
I also made a section for A5 Triple Draw though no one really plays it on the internet these days. the site includes rules and strategy articles for each game. 27 Triple Draw is a lowball poker game. Imagine playing 5 card draw with 3 draws. Then imagine you are trying to catch the lowest hand. Straights and flushes count and aces are always high….thats exactly what 2-7 Triple Draw is.
If you ever want to take a break from Stud poker I highly recommend this card game. Most of the players at the tables are novices so the competition is fairly easy to beat as long as you are using the proper strategies. I will this card game almost as much as I play Stud. Its just nice to take a break from the repetition of Stud. Triple Draw lowball is that type of game that has a lot of interactive decision making. Think about it, in Stud you just sit back and either call, bet raise or fold. In draw poker games your skill will determine the strength of your final hand. With 3 draws in each hand you will have to make a lot of choices. With so many choices human error comes into play. Thats why the action is so soft.
